A scientific and methodological seminar was held

On April 4, 2024, at the Institute of History and Law of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai, a scientific and methodological seminar "Methods of teaching the history of Kazakhstan in antiquity and the Middle Ages" was held as part of the "Decade of Science." Deputy Director of the Institute M. Muratgazin opened the seminar with a welcoming speech. Famous scientists, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ph.D., Professor Abzhanov H.M. and Head of the Department "History of Ancient and Medieval Kazakhstan," Ph.D., Professor Atygaev N.A. Academician Abzhanov H.M. in his report shared his thoughts on the future of Russian historical science, the role of young scientists in it, new approaches in teaching ancient and medieval history. The scientist dwelled in detail on such topical issues as the era of the history of Kazakhstan, the study and introduction of sources of the Turkic period into scientific circulation In turn, Professor Atygaev N.A. informed the audience about the latest achievements in the study of the history of the Kazakh Khanate and shortcomings in the translation of historical sources. Of particular interest to students were sources in Persian that came into scientific circulation. The seminar was attended by teachers and students of the 1st year of the Institute of History and Law. They received professional answers from scientists to their questions and returned from the seminar with a good impression.
