International dialogue of scientists on the problems of ethnopedagogical content in the SCOPUS database

On December 25, 2023, in online and offline format, the Department of Pedagogy of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of Abai University held an international scientific and methodological seminar "Ethnopedagogical content of publication of scientific materials on the Scopus platform and technical parameters".

The aim of the seminar was to organize a constructive dialogue to discuss the results of the analysis of ethnopedagogical content in indexed journals of Scopus database and actualization of scientific collaboration of scientists in research on ethnopedagogy.

In the report of the key speaker, candidate of pedagogical sciences, senior lecturer M.K.Kursabaev was presented a cross-country comparative analysis of statistical data on ethnopedagogical publications, review of trends and prospects of ethnopedagogy development in the conditions of globalisation.

The seminar was actively participated by the Director of the Department of Science of Abai University, Dr.P.S., Professor U.M. Abdigapbarova, Head of the Department of Pedagogy, Professor Sh.J.Kolumbayeva, head of the methodological seminar, research professor A.E.Berikkhanova, Professor of Ufa University of Science and Technology V.I.Baimurzina (Ufa, Russia), Professor of Mari State University T.N.Petrova (Yoshkar-Ola, Russia), Professor of ENU named after L.Gumilev G.M.Kertayeva, Professor, Chairman of the Veterans Council of Abai University B.A.Almukhambetov, Director of the school named after Raiymbek in Issyk, Almaty region S.R.Turikbayeva and others, who highly appreciated the relevance of the development of ethnopedagogical education, shared valuable insights and outlined the prospects for international cooperation.

The seminar was attended by more than 100 participants: faculty members of Abai University, teachers of the departments of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, heads and specialists of educational organizations, teachers of colleges and schools, doctoral students, masters and students.
