Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography invited a famous Polish scientist

Professor of the University of Gdansk (Gdansk, Poland), PhD Jan Wendt came to Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Institute for Natural Sciences and Geography, "Geography and Ecology" department to deliver lectures within the framework of the "Visiting Professor" program. He is the author of 10 textbooks and monographs, more than 300 scientific publications, and has the Hirsch index h=14.

From September 2 to September 30, 2023, Professor Jan Wendt will deliver lectures on geopolitics, and geography of tourism for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students of the department. The professor will hold master classes on writing articles for highly rated journals, conduct consultation with doctoral students, and take part in the scientific life of the institute.
