Exhibition within the framework of the «Decade of Science»

 

On 5 April, the Institute of History and Law hosted an exhibition «Rukhani zhanguiru: tarikh, kukik, aitilgan tarikh, philosophia, aleumettanu, medeniettanu guilymdary men adistemesi», which is part of the Decade of Science program.

 

The purpose of the exhibition is to acquaint the students and all comers with the scientific and scientific-methodological achievements of the professors and teachers of the Institute of History and Law.

 

The opening ceremony was attended by the rector of the University Takir Balykbaev, the vice-rector for educational and methodical work Gabit Kenzhebaev, the vice-rector for scientific work and international cooperation Aktolkyn Kulsarieva, the director of the science department Sayabek Sahiev, the director of the Institute of History and Law Bolat Zhumagulov, the heads of the chairs, the teaching staff, students, undergraduates, doctoral students.

 

During the event the students got acquainted with the 90-year history of the university, which was imprinted in archival documents. Part of the exhibition was devoted to the results of ongoing archaeological excavations on Kara-Kastek in Almaty region. The exhibition also gave an opportunity to get acquainted with the work of teachers of 6 chairs of the Institute.

 

In addition, the honorary academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the RK, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of Al-Farabi KazNU, head of the Center for the Study of Traditional Civilizations of Central Asia Talas Omarbekov became the guest of the event. He addressed the faculty and students of the Institute of History and Law with an act lecture on «The Origin of the Kazakh People». Interesting materials and the results of his scientific research were provided.

 

The exhibition aroused keen interest in the university environment, its visitors and participants noted the high level of preparation and conduct.
