Landscaping of the Department of Geography and Ecology

In Abai KazNPU, the leadership pays great attention to the organization and modernization of the space of educational buildings. So, for example, in the building of the Institute of Natural Science and Geography in 2022, landscaping was carried out (repair, infrastructure development, purchase of pots for plants, etc.), which creates the most comfortable environment in the development strategy of the university as a green and sustainable university.

Such systemic changes contribute to the development of the educational building as a territory of a healthy lifestyle.One of such regular events was the action on gardening of the department, organized by 4th year students: Zhumazhanov Arman, Isak Asylzhan, Aitbekkyzy Alinur, Nurlybekkyzy Aidana, together with the head of the professor of the department of geography and ecology Bakirova K.Sh. (as part of a graduation project). For this, seedlings were prepared in advance and indoor plants were planted. The faculty and teaching staff of the department were also involved in this process, rare plants were additionally purchased from the botanical garden.

Conducting an environmental event created a combination of different beautiful plants, which gave an aesthetic appearance to the department, the offices of the teaching staff and the corridor give a good mood to the staff and students of the department. The purchase of pots of different sizes allows you to design a unified style solution and design of the educational environment, which creates favorable conditions, taking into account modern requirements and development in the structure of a green university. The trend of increasing relevance, organization, modernization, formation of environmental friendliness of space are measures to improve the academic policy of the university, in particular the environmental policy of the university. It is typical for any university to strive to create separate territorial entities that will primarily ensure sustainable development and reflect the culture and values ​​of our educational institution.
