Credit system of education

 

The main objective of the loan program is to develop the students` ability to self-organization and self-education on the basis of a choice of educational paths in the regulation of the educational process with the use of credit as a unified unit of schoolwork student and teacher.

The main objectives of the educational process with the use of credit technology are:

1.unification of knowledge;

2.create conditions for maximum individualization of instruction;

3.strengthening the role and effectiveness of independent work of students;

4.Identification of real learning achievements of students on the basis of effective procedures for their control.

 

Credit technology training includes:

 

1.the introduction of a credit system for evaluating students and teachers effort for each discipline;

2.freedom of choice of studying subjects included in QED to provide for their direct involvement in the selection of individual learning paths;

3.freedom of choice to train teachers;

4.involvement in the educational process advisors to facilitate the students in the choice of educational path;

5.the use of interactive teaching methods;

6.activation of self-study student in the development of the educational program ;

7.the academic freedom of faculty , departments in the educational process , the formation of educational programs;

8.providing of training all the necessary teaching and learning materials in print and electronic media;

9.effective methods for the control of educational achievements of students ;

10.Use score-rating system of evaluation of educational achievements of students in each academic discipline.

The organization of the educational process within the same school year in accordance with the academic calendar, approved by the Rector KazNPU named after Abai based on the decision of the Academic Council.

 

The school year usually consists of 35 weeks:

of which 30 - theoretical training,

5 - final inspection.

In addition, for full-time students are set vacation at least twice a year, a total of at least 7 weeks. New school year - September 1. Held summer semester (excluding final year) for up to 6 weeks, of which 4-5 weeks - theoretical training, 1 week - the final control (exams).

Training sessions are conducted mainly in active creative forms (case study, business games, training sessions, debates, round tables, seminars).

 

Training sessions are organized:

1) for full-time students - Water or two shifts from 8.00 hours to 18.30 hours, for students of correspondence throughout the day from 8.00 hours to 20.00 hours Depends on the available classroom fund.

In order to ensure the eligibility of academic disciplines and teachers schedule training sessions shall be made in the context of academic disciplines and teachers.

 

Self-study student is divided into two parts: the SS (teacherled) and the actual SROs that runs completely independently. The entire volume of CPO confirmed tasks that require learning from daily homework.

SS is a kind of extracurricular student performed on a separate schedule, which is not included in the overall schedule of training sessions. In SS includes advice on the most complex issues of curriculum, homework, coursework (projects), control of semester work, fathering and other types of jobs SRO. All kinds of SRO necessarily described in syllabus and UMKD with specific tasks, evaluation criteria and a timetable for their delivery.

In KazNPU named after Abai learning process using the loan program is organized through the following training and control measures:

 

1.classroom training: lectures, workshops (seminars), laboratory classes.

2.extracurricular activity: self-study student, including teacher-led (SSWT), individual consultations;

3.conducting training and professional practices, research papers, thesis preparation;

4.control of educational achievements of students: current and boundary control (survey on employment testing on the themes of discipline, control of protection of laboratory work, term papers, discussions, workshops, colloquiums), interim certification / final control (testing on sections of the discipline, examination, defense reports Practice), final state certification (defense of the thesis, master`s thesis, State interdisciplinary examination).

 

Learner builds its educational program under the direction of advisors. List approved by the dean of the faculty advisors.

Learner within the academic mobility has the right to inspect individual disciplines in other universities, including abroad.

In the case study of individual disciplines in other universities the student is in the Front Desk university transcript on these subjects , indicating intermediate certification assessments and the number of loans disbursed for the subsequent registration of educational achievements . Study load of students is measured in credits , mastered during the school year for each academic discipline .
