Assem Kyrykbayeva

BRIEF AUTOBIOGRAPHY

Assem Kyrykbayeva was born in 1979 in Koksu District, Almaty Region, Kazakhstan.
In 1996, she graduated with honors from Algabas Secondary School and was admitted to I. Zhansugurov Zhetysu State University, majoring in Physics. In 2000, she graduated from the university with honors (red diploma).

She began her professional career in 2000 as a physics teacher at Musabek Secondary School.

From 2014 to 2016, she studied at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in the master`s program "Materials Science and Technology of New Materials" and received the academic degree of Master of Technical Sciences.
In 2013, she completed an international professional development program - International Post Graduate Course on Current Research in Physics - at the School of Physics, University Science Malaysia (Malaysia).

From 2016 to 2019, she pursued doctoral studies in the same specialty at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. In 2018, she completed a research internship at the AGH University of Science and Technology (Stanislaw Staszic Academy of Mining and Metallurgy, Poland).
In 2020, she was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in "6D071000 - Materials Science and Technology of New Materials."

In 2024-2025, Dr. Assem Kyrykbayeva was awarded the Presidential International Scholarship "Bolashak" of the Republic of Kazakhstan to undertake a scientific internship in the United States of America in the field of Educational Management.
