BRIEF BIOGRAPHY

Zarina Talapkerovna Kanafina (born January 20, 1993, in Petropavlovsk) is a graduate of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University (2021), holding a Master`s degree in Pedagogical Sciences. Since 2024, she has been a lecturer at the Department of Russian Language and Literature at Abai KazNPU.

In 2015, she completed her Bachelor`s degree at M. Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University in the speciality "Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages," defending a diploma thesis on methodology titled "Autonomous Learning in the Process of Foreign Language Acquisition." She pursued her Master`s (2019-2021) and Doctoral (2021-2024) studies at the Faculty of Philology of Abai KazNPU, specialising in "Russian Language and Literature." Her Master`s dissertation, defended in 2021, was titled "Changes in the ergonymics of Kazakhstan in the Independence period (based on sports objects)." Her doctoral dissertation topic is "Ergonymy in the field of ceremonial services: the current state and reflection of social and ethnocultural reality"

SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITY

Kanafina Zarina continues her research in the field of onomastics in Kazakhstan, participates in international conferences and internships, and publishes scientific papers. Her current research interests include linguistics, the methodology of teaching Russian, Russian as a foreign language (RFL), and onomastics.

She has authored scientific publications in proceedings of international conferences, as well as in journals included in the VAK list and journals recommended by Science and Higher Education Quality Assurance Committee. ORCID: https://orcid.org/0009-0005-3269-5331
