Balabekova Katira Shahmankyzy was born on March 23, 1967 in the Otyrar district of the South Kazakhstan region. In 1984 she graduated from the secondary school named after Amangeldy.

In 1993 she graduated from the Kazakh Women`s Teacher Training Institute, Faculty of Philology, with a degree in "Teacher of the Kazakh language and literature".

Experience:

From 1993-1999 worked as a teacher at school No. 13 in the city of Shymkent

From 1999-2008 she worked as a teacher at the Department of Kazakh Linguistics at Kainar University.

 From 2012-2014 graduated from the Kazakh State Women`s Teacher Training University with a master`s degree in Kazakh language and literature.

From 2018-2021 PhD in specialty 6D020500 - "Philology" of the Kazakh National Women`s Teacher Training University. (2008) Lecturer in the Department of Theory and Methods of Kazakh Linguistics, (2010) Senior Lecturer, (2014-2021) Master of Pedagogical Sciences, Senior Lecturer.

Since 2021, she has been working as a master, senior lecturer at the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai.

Along with science and teaching, she is the author of scientific and methodological works, manuals, electronic textbooks, more than 100 articles.
