From November 18 to 22, 2025, the XXVIII International Creative Youth Competition "Shabyt" was held in Astana. Creative teams and faculty members of the Faculty of Arts of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University took part in this prestigious event.

The competition was organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Akimat of Astana city, and the Kazakh National University of Arts. This international cultural event provided young performers and artists with an opportunity to exchange experience and showcase their creative potential.

Representatives of our university participated in the competition in the following nominations:

"Folk Ensemble" - "Alash" Student Ensemble

"Choir Conductor" - "Abai" Student Choir

"Chamber Choir" - "Abai" Student Choir

"Fine Arts (Painting, Graphics)" - Faculty members of the Faculty of Arts
