COOPERATION WITH THE KAZAKHSTAN AUTHORS` SOCIETY ESTABLISHED

Today, Bolat Tilep, Chairman of the Board-Rector of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, met with Ainur Yessendikova, Director General of the Republican Public Association "Kazakhstan Authors` Society." During the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed.

The purpose of the memorandum is to ensure systematic protection of intellectual property, to establish a transparent infrastructure for the registration of copyright, and to support creative projects of university students and faculty. The document aims to unite efforts in the legal protection of the outcomes of creative and scientific activities of students and teachers, as well as to promote a culture of respect for copyright in the academic environment.

The event was attended by Aigul Iskakova, Vice-Rector for Strategy and Internationalization, Karim Baigutov, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, and Saken Belgibayev, Advisor to the Honorary Ambassador for Tourism and Cultural Development between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Within the framework of the memorandum, the parties plan to hold joint seminars, consultations, and trainings on copyright issues for students, master`s and doctoral candidates, as well as academic staff. This will provide future artists, designers, musicians, directors, art educators, and researchers with information on how to protect their works during their studies.
