International Cooperation Aimed at the Development of the Culture and Art of Turkic Peoples

On November 18, 2025, the "Art and Sports" faculty of Kokand State University, in collaboration with Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, held an international online webinar on the topic "Applying Foreign Experiences in Teaching Uzbek and Kazakh Music Education."

The webinar was attended by leading professors and educators from both universities. During the event, meaningful reports were presented on music theory, innovative methods in art pedagogy, the integration of foreign experiences into the educational process, as well as the shared cultural heritage of Turkic peoples.

Additionally, the webinar featured Kazakhstan`s Honored Figure of Culture, Professor of Art Science Erbolat Jumashuly Mustafayev, who shared his experience. "At the invitation of Kokand State University, I am also conducting a lecture series on the culture and art of Turkic peoples. This initiative is an important step toward strengthening scientific and academic ties between the two universities," he said. His participation deepened the academic discussion and increased the significance of the event.

In the future, the parties plan to continue their cooperation in areas such as exchanging teaching experiences, developing joint scientific projects, expanding academic mobility, and regularly holding international scientific events.

This partnership will pave the way for deeper research into the cultural heritage of the Turkic world, enhance the quality of education, and open up new scientific opportunities for young researchers.
