Open educational hour «Interesting mood, student life»

On November 17, 2020, at the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography of Abai KazNPU, an educational hour «Interesting mood, student life» was held, organized by 1st year students of specialty «Biotechnology» and with their curator Tolegen Altynay, in honour of International Students` Day. The event, held on the Zoom platform, was attended by Nurlan Manapov, responsible for educational work and social development of the Institute of natural sciences and geography, Chairman of the student government Sayakbayeva Simbat, teachers and active students of the Institute.

The holiday was opened with congratulatory words of students in different foreign languages, in Kazakh and Russian, English and Chinese. Then Uteshpayev Sultan introduced everyone with the history of Students` Day and Kairatova Aigerim shared with several interesting facts about students from different countries. Also, soulful verses were sounded, were shown videos full of interesting moments of distance learning, beautiful kyuis were sounded on national instruments on dombyra performed by Akhmetkalieva Aknur and an excerpt from the song «Kyz Zhibek» performed by Dina Nurpeisova on zhetygen.

During the event, various situations in which any student may find himself or herself and ways out of them were discussed. Many teachers remembered interesting cases from their student lives. The host of the evening, Dana Matebayeva, congratulated her classmates who have joined the ranks of students this year. The festivity was fun and will surely be remembered by all participants. They expressed the need for such wonderful events, especially in the traditional format of the educational process, which everyone is looking forward.
