Scientific seminar of PhD students

On 1 October, 2018 at the Department of Russian Language and Literature the first in the new academic year seminar for PhD students was hold. The head of the seminar is Prof. Damina Shaibakova devoted the first meeting to acquaintance with the requirements for writing and preparing a doctoral dissertation. Problems associated with the choice of the topic of the dissertation, the methods and methodology of the study, the structure of the work were discussed. On specific examples analyzed mistakes in the definition and formulation of relevance, purpose, objectives, subject of research. The issues of academic honesty and working with sources, the methodology for conducting the experiment was of particular attention.

In the work of the seminar took part PhD students of the 1-2 years of training «Russian language and literature», «Linguistics», «Literary criticism» specialties.
