City Olympiad «The State Language of My Motherland» for students of non-indigenous nationality

On 18 April, 2018, within the framework of the program «Rukhani zhanguyru», the annual national language contest «The State Language of My Motherland» was held at the Chair of Theory and Methods of Kazakh Linguistics of the Kazakh State Women`s Pedagogical University in the discipline «Kazakh Language» among non-national students of higher education places of Almaty.

The purpose of the Olympiad is the development of the state language, stimulation of interest in its study and use in the student environment.

Six teams of higher educational institutions of Almaty took part in the Olympiad. The team «Parasat», which included first-year students Sumanieva Solmaz, Ilie Sumbat and Abdushakirov Aziz, represented our university.

Our students showed a high level of theoretical knowledge and practical skills of owning the Kazakh language and won the main prize.

The senior teacher of the practical languages chair Zeynep Osmanova prepared the team of students to the Olympiad.
