School of Young Scientists «Quantitative Philology»

 

School of Young Scientists «Quantitative Philology» is a project, aimed at forming a community of young scientists around innovative ideas and traditions of scientific schools, which will allow joint efforts to develop research technologies corresponding to the world level. The project was organized by the Smolensk Humanitarian Research Center and supported by the Presidential Grants Fund of the Russian Federation.
More than 80 students, undergraduates and candidates of science up to 35 years old from different regions of Russia and abroad applied for participation in the School of Young Scientists. One of the participants is a first-year doctoral student of the «Russian language and literature» specialty of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education of Abai KazNPU Moldagali Madina.


The School for Young Researchers consists of 2 online sessions and one offline session. The first stage of the project was taken place from 12 to 24 April, 2021. The second session will take place from May to September. During this session the School participants will write collaborative works. The final works of the participants will be presented at the last offline session - at the conference, which will be organized by Smolensk State University (Russia) in September.


During a two-week online session, more than 30 video lectures and master classes of leading specialists of Smolensk State University in the field of quantitative philology were listened to. All sessions were filled with a cozy atmosphere where each young researcher could clarify details and ask additional questions.
