Almaty Marathon-2018

On 22 April, 2018 in Almaty was hold an annual international race competition, the largest sporting event in Central Asia.

The ability and desire to run are laid in every person by nature. Running is considered one of the main mechanisms provided for by evolution to preserve health and life. Maybe that`s why the atmosphere of the marathon so positively affects its participants.

The marathon was held with the aim:

- popularization of running and Nordic walking;

- preparation of runners for international marathon competitions

- support of charitable projects of national importance;

- Creation of favorable conditions for juniors to participate in further competitions;

- rejection of bad habits;

- forming a healthy nation.

The marathon was attended by more than 14,000 thousands of lovers of running and a healthy lifestyle from 17 countries. Among them were rector Takir Balykbayev, representatives of the faculty and students of Abai KazNPU.

So, the students of the "Leader" circle of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology took an active part in the 10 km race, and also volunteered and supported the fans.
