On 24 November, 2016, students of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology specialty "Pedagogy and methodology of primary education" took part in the international competition "Future Teacher - 2016". The initiator of the competition was the Research and Education Center of Dagestan State Pedagogical University "New Elementary School" in cooperation with the Chechen State University of Russian Federation.
The event is dedicated to the profession of primary school teacher, was held in the online mode. The competition was attended by teams Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University (Almaty, Kazakhstan), Dagestan State Pedagogical University (Makhachkala, Dagestan, Russia), Chelyabinsk State Pedagogical University (Grozny, Chechen Republic, Russia), InPU (Magas, Ingushetia, Russia), Volgograd State Pedagogical University (Volgograd, Russia).

Competition motto - "Do not move with the times, and to step forward."
The purpose of competition: development of creative activity of students of pedagogical universities, improving the quality of the research activities, the involvement of teachers, students and graduate students in the implementation of active and interactive technologies in the educational process.
