Project on «Fostering Productive Innovation»

 

Ministry of  Education and Science of Republic of Kazakhstan (MES RK) with World Bank implements a Project on Fostering Productive Innovation.

 

As a part of this project a seminar where university scientists took part was held at Abai Kazakh Pedagogical University on the April 10. The seminar was organized by: Ospanov Ilyas Yesetovich, deputy director of the Project management unit «Fostering Productive Innovation», Sheriyazdan Akbota Telmanovna, manager.

 

Component 1 - Development of the Knowledge Base for Innovation also considers the implementation of the PhD Research and Training Grants. The aim of the program is to strengthen the scientific potential of Kazakhstan through the provision of grants for scientific trainings and researches for the PhD, postdoctoral degree candidates, graduate students and researchers in leading foreign universities and technical research centers with the possibility of introduction of scientific developments into production.

 

The «Aggregator» register of international research grant programs for Kazakhstani scientists was carried out within the framework of the Project. The «Aggregator» register helps to address the issue of introducing the practice of attracting extra budgetary funds to stimulate scientific organizations and scientists research activities.

 

Project management unit representatives explained detailed information on the conditions and requirements for the competitions.
