Рride of people - the spirit of nation

On 5 December 2018, M. Auezov South Kazakhstan State University, Baidibek Baba Republican Foundation and Ak Orda Republican Movement organized and celebrated the 420th anniversary of the famous Kazakh hero, talented commander, Altynayuly Karasai Batyr. An international scientific conference «The pride of the people - the spirit of the nation: understanding and influence» was held at SKSU.

The conference was devoted to the courage of Karasai Batyr in the struggle to strengthen the Kazakh state;to the main value of the national idea «Maglіk el» - the phenomenon of the hero, the heroes of the ancestors: the source and heritage of national education; to popularization of scientific research in the field of historical science; to the introduction of new disciplines in humanities in Kazakhstan. The conference continued in breakout sessions.

Director of the Institute of History and Law of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, professor Bolat Zhumagulov made a report «A man, born for the good of the people, a brave warrior» and on behalf of the rector Takir Balykbayev congratulated South Kazakhstan State University on its 75th anniversary.

During the event, the guests got acquainted with the scientific and methodological centers «Mukhtartanu», «Studies of the Head of State», a book exhibition organized by the research center of historical personalities «Suranshy Batyr» and the universal library of Shymkent «Otyrar».
