Literary and musical evening dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Mukagali Makatayev

On February 16, 2021, the Institute of History and Law of Abai KazNPU organized a literary and musical evening "Mukagali - Eternal Life" in compliance with the requirements of the quarantine regime. Vice-rector for educational work and social development of our university, Zhanatbek Ishpekbayev, opened the event in a mixed format dedicated to the famous Kazakh poet M. Makataev, and wished success in holding the evening.

During the event, a book exhibition about the life of Mukagali Makatayev was organized, as well as a video about his life, family and friends. In addition, beautiful poems performed by students, the ringing of the kyui, parting words gave the audience a good mood. The main purpose of the literary and musical evening was to get acquainted with the life and work of the poet, the power of Kazakh edifying poetry and popularization of M. Makatayev.
