Rector`s meeting in the «Open space» format

On November 6, 2019, at Abai KazNPU, in order to ensure openness and accessibility of the university`s activities, rector Takir Balykbaуev met with the public in the «Open space» format. The meeting was organized by the university administration.

Vice-rectors and directors of departments attended the meeting. The university leadership received more than 75 appeals.

During the meeting, questions were raised regarding living conditions and tuition fees; transition from one specialty to another; improvement of living conditions in dormitories and learning processes, issues that have individual educational or social significance. Each contactee was able to talk face to face with the rector and other university leaders and discuss their proposals. At this meeting, students and their parents had the opportunity to share urgent problems and express their wishes.

University leaders consistently answered questions related to their competence. The rector of the university was very attentive to communication with participants in the «Open space»; he directly went into the essence of all the appeals.

Students and parents who came to meet with the rector were satisfied with the prompt resolution of many issues. Some problematic calls took time, they could not be resolved immediately. Therefore, the head of the university summarized them, analyzed and gave instructions to the relevant structural units. He indicated the terms of implementation and instructed to inform him about how a particular problem is being solved.

Employees of the administration, headed by the first head of the university, pay attention to the concerns and needs of students in a timely manner and strive in every way to help in their satisfaction. Openness, creating comfortable conditions for learning, close cooperation with young people, solving problems that have arisen are the priority tasks of our university.
