International scientific conference «Youth of the great steppe: historical mission and formation of the nation of united future»

On April 19, 2019, in Nazarbayev Center of Nur-Sultan city, the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy and the Institute of History of the State of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized an international scientific conference «Youth of the Great Steppe: historical mission and formation of the Nation of United Future». The event was attended by scientists from near and far abroad, as they shared their own experiences in their countries on the directions of attracting young people to engage in science. The conference discussed a general range of issues related to realization of youth policy in Kazakhstan, as well as special attention was paid to topical issues of the national science of history. In this regard, Kazakh and foreign scholars exchanged views on a number of issues related to the role and mission of historical science in the modernization of public consciousness, and the formation of an intellectual nation.

The conference was opened and headed by the Director of the Institute of History of the State of the Committee of Science Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Historical Science, Professor Ayagan Burkitbay.

During the conference, Associate Professor of the Department of Russian History of the historical Faculty of Orenburg State Pedagogical University, Candidate of Historical Sciences Tugai Tatiyana presented the book «Orenburg`s way of Akhmet Baitursunov» the author of which she is.

The international scientific conference was attended by teachers of Abai KazNPU, Institute of History and Law, the Department of World History: Professor, Doctor of Historical Sciences Smankulova Zhanat and Lecturer Abdikhalyk Temirzhan. During the master classes, Zhanat Smankulova presented her author`s project «Innovative technologies in history teaching».

As a result of the conference, a resolution was adopted and certificates were presented to all conference participants.
