Lecture of Igor Rogov at Abai KazNPU

At Abai KazNPU, on 26 January 2018, a meeting was held with Deputy Executive Director of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy Igor Rogov. Students, undergraduates, doctoral students and faculty of the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute attended the lecture.

The event was opened by the first vice-rector of the University, Professor Maktagali Bektemesov, also with a welcoming speech addressed to the audience, the attaché on education and culture of the Embassy of the French Republic, Gilles Mametz.

Professor Igor Rogov delivered a lecture on «Realization of constitutional values», which was conceptually linked to the main provisions of the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, to the people of Kazakhstan «New Opportunities for Development under the Conditions of the Fourth Industrial Revolution». The lecture noted that there is no need for constitutional amendments, but at the same time it is necessary to continue improving the current legislation. The lecturer emphasized the audience`s attention to the fact that digitalization and IT technologies, about which the Head of State spoke in the Address, will lead to significant changes in the legal understanding, the implementation of the law, the activities of lawyers and law enforcement system.

The lecturer`s speech aroused great interest among listeners. The lecture was productive and dynamic. After an interesting speech, Igor Rogov answered the questions of the meeting participants.
