National Exhibition of Musical Instruments 

In honor of Republic Day on October 25, the National Center "Ulttyk Tarbie" of Abai KazNPU together with the State Museum of Musical Instruments named after Ikylas Dukenuly held an exhibition of national instruments in our educational institution.

The exhibition began with N. Tylendiev`s cue "Ata Tolgau" performed by the Abai Orchestra, the Institute of Art, Culture and Sports under the direction of Samat Malimbay, a cultural figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Art. teacher. National instruments stored in the museum of our university were exhibited along with exhibits of the said museum. The event was attended by the chairman of the veterans` organization, Professor Berikzhan Aitkululy. It is the civic duty of each of us to promote our national heritage. Congratulating the people of Kazakhstan on the Republic Day, he emphasized the importance of this event, which is held on the eve of the national holiday. An employee of the mentioned museum, Ademi Erikovna, spoke about the history of the instruments stored in the fund. During the exhibition, girls from the "Visage" model club of the design department demonstrated the "Tanbaly Tas" and "Batyr Kyz" collections of national clothing. The public, who were introduced to instruments with a deep history at the exhibition and filled their ears with artistic music, left with gratitude.
