International Student Conference on “Contemporary Religious Studies: Current Issues, Trends, and Prospects”

On April 22, 2025, the international student conference titled "Contemporary Religious Studies: Current Issues, Trends, and Prospects" was held, organized by the Nur-Mubarak University of Islamic Culture of Egypt.

The event was opened by the Rector of Nur-Mubarak University of Islamic Culture, Professor Dr. Ahmed Hussein Muhammad Ibrahim. The conference brought together faculty members of the university, as well as students, master`s and doctoral candidates from universities across Kazakhstan, the United States, and Italy. The conference featured presentations from both international and domestic universities.From the Faculty of History and Law, Department of World History, six master`s students from the "7M01602 History and Religious Studies" program and four bachelor`s students from the "6B01602 History and Religious Studies" program participated in the conference. As a result of the international conference, Madina Aralbay, a master`s student of the "7M01602 History and Religious Studies" program, was awarded 2nd place, and Yrysaldy Birles took 3rd place. Their academic advisor was Senior Lecturer Didar Zhetpisuly Mamyrbayev.
