The Oral History Research Center is operating at the Department of History of Kazakhstan. Within the framework of designated research areas, the following projects are being developed.

According to the results of scientific research for 2015-2018, the staff of the Department of History of Kazakhstan published 414 publications and 14 monographs and books (an average of 14-16 publications per 1 person of teaching staff over three years), of which:
