Wisdom of Abai at Abai University

On 31 January 2018, on the eve of the 90th anniversary of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, in the framework of the program «Rukhani zhanguiru», and in honor of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of Hakim Abai Research Center, the director of this center, Zhabal Shoyinbet read a lecture «Abay Danalygui at Abai University».

The purpose of this event is to show that the young generation needs to study the wisdom of Hakim Abay in a new way, according with the requirements of today; through advanced educational and methodological approaches to develop the noble heritage of Abai; using not only books, but also innovative technologies to bring to the public the key to knowledge through Hakim`s words.

At the end of the lecture the undergraduates asked Jabal Shoybinbet questions and shared their impressions. In the final part of the lecture, Abai`s songs were performed.

During the year similar events are planned to be held in all structural divisions of the University in order to attract young people to the cultural heritage of their people and cultivate a caring attitude towards it.
