  "Kil-saha" ensemble of the Yakut people is a guest

 

On 24 April 2024, as part of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Days of Culture, a cultural and educational meeting was held in Kazakhstan with artists from the ethnic ensemble "KYL-SAKHA". The event was organised by the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University and the Institute of Philology of the Akhmet Baitursynuly Center.

 

At the cultural and educational meeting, Anna Tomskaya, head of the Kyl-Sakha orchestra and artist, spoke to the teaching staff and students about the national and cultural values of the Sakha country. She also introduced me to the national instruments of the Sakha people. Ruslan Gabyshev, an artist from the Republic of Yakutia and holder of the "Abai" sign, performed songs of the great poet Abai in the Kazakh language on national instruments, including the Kazakh dombra. The artists of the ensemble Anna Tomskaya, Ruslan Gabyshev, Afanasy Tomsky brilliantly performed melodies of the Sakha people accompanied by the orchestra.

 

The students, who expressed their admiration for the artists` performance, engaged in a constructive dialogue and demonstrated their enthusiasm. Alua Tanzharykova, the Director of the Institute of Philology, extended her congratulations to the artists of the ensemble "Kyl-Sakha" on behalf of the administration of KazNPU. She delivered a congratulatory speech and presented letters of thanks. Turkologists Yerlan Kasenov and Gaukhar Askarova emphasised the significance of fostering Turkic spirituality and the culture of the Sakha people in the education of an intellectual personality. They were subsequently presented with letters of gratitude. The moderator of the cultural and educational evening, the head of the Akhmet Baitursynuly Center, Roza Bakbergenova, wished the artists creative success and presented Kazakh national gifts. Shakarim Alimgazy, a first-year student and member of the Soztanym club, performed a song on the dombra for the guests. At the conclusion of the event, artists and students engaged in a joint performance, underscoring the significant role of the SAKHA-KAZAKH people in the spiritual and cultural advancement of Turkic civilization.
