The winners of the Republican tournament «Abay barysy-2024» have been determined

On April 18, 2024, Abai Kaznpu organized the Republican tournament «Abai barysy-2024» among students of higher educational institutions on Kazakh kures within the framework of the spring festive period «Abai Alemi».

Zhansugurov (Taldykorgan), L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Astana), Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Almaty), Teams of Narxoz University (Almaty), Kazakh-British Technical University (Almaty), Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K. I. Satpayev (Almaty), Kazakh main architectural and Construction Academy (Almaty), Suleiman Demirel University (Almaty), Kazakh Academy of sports and tourism (Almaty), Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (Almaty), International University of Information Technologies (Almaty) took part.

Today, on behalf of our President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, work is underway to develop sports among young people and teenagers, to increase the number of people involved in sports. At the grand opening of the Republican tournament "Abay barysy-2024" among students of higher educational institutions in Kazakh kures, the head of the staff of Abay Kaznpu Zhanatbek Ichpekbayev, vice-rector for Social Development Maksat Zhakauov, teacher of Physical Culture and sports kafdera Yerlan Temirkhanov, honored trainer of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 3 - time Asian and world champion Talip Bauyrzhan Taubaldyuly, master of sports of international class in Kazakh kures, Asian and world champion Arystanbekov Abzal, honored coach of the Republic of Kazakhstan, national referee - Yerlan imangaliyev, Master of sports of international class in Kazakh kures, Asian and world champion, head coach of the national team of Kazakhstan - Ghani Keldikulov took part.

The judges of the highest national level were Saidakov Erkin, Iralina Mira, Khamitov Zhangeldy, Belgibayev Yerzhan, Kapparov Aziz, Kunesbay Tolegen, Imangaliyev Yerlan, Magauinov Yernar, Arystanbekov Abzal, Ibragimov Bolatbek.

As a result of the tournament:

The first place was taken by Iskander Zhandos, a 3rd year student of Abai Kaznpu (500,000 tenge), who became «Abai barysy-2024»;

II place was taken by a student of Narxoz University plan Olzhas (300 000 tenge);

III places were taken by a student of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Serikkhan Orazayev and a student of the Kazakh Academy of sports and tourism Abilmazhinov instruct (200,000 tenge).

Participants and prize-winners of the competition were awarded special diplomas and prizes of the chairman of the management board-Rector.
