Rector`s meeting with the champion of the sambo tournament

Today, 20 February 2024, Chairman of the Board-Rector of Abai KazNPU Bolat Tlep met with the champion of the international sambo tournament Nursyitov Nursultan and his coach Erkin Saidakov.

Recall, the 4th year student of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports N.Nursyitov won the title of champion in the weight category up to 64kg at the international sambo tournament among adults, which was recently held in Minsk (Belarus). Since 2019 Nursultan actively participated in competitions in kazaksha kuresi, belt wrestling and sambo, became the champion of the country and the world.

The Rector sincerely congratulated Nursultan on his victory and wished him new sporting heights. Bolat Tlep emphasised the importance of supporting talented students of the university and expressed readiness to support young athletes. He expressed his gratitude to Nursultan and his coach and presented them with a monetary certificate from the university.
