"White Rook" chess tournament

The chess tournament "White Rook" (Rapid 10+3) among boys and girls was organised by the chess club "Garde" of the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics of Abai KazNPU. The competition was attended by students of the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics and its guests, including students from a number of schools in Almaty.

The game was held in the format "10+3". The tournament was held at a very high level, tense and interesting. As a result, the 1st place was won by Mels Dinmuhammed, a student of school-lyceum № 126, the 2nd place was taken by Doszhanov Yedige, a student of IPiP, the 3rd place - Bakytzhan Didar. MUIT student Sabid Yernur was named the best player, a student of the same university Shakali Zhansaya took the 1st place among girls, 2nd place - student IMFII Rakhmatullaeva Balzira, 3rd place was taken by student of the Institute of Philology Nabihan Saida. The best participants of the chess tournament were awarded a special prize of Abai KazNPU.
