The Essence of Sufi Teaching in Kazakh Spirituality

On March 3, 2025, a meeting on the topic "The Essence of Sufi Teaching in Kazakh Spirituality" was held at the Faculty of History and Law, Department of World History. Professor Zholaman Bulan from Nur-Mubarak University of Egypt Islamic Culture gave a lecture to students of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years of the "6B01602 History-religious Studies" program and students of 1st and 2nd years of the "6B02202 Scientific History" program.

The main goal of the educational event was to develop religious literacy among the youth, as well as to assist graduates, master`s students, and doctoral candidates in answering questions related to religious studies and their thesis projects.

During the event, Professor Zholaman Bulan presented the significance of Sufi teaching in Kazakh spirituality, national religious values, and academic methods of studying Sufism in Kazakhstan. Additionally, he shared his published works in the field of religious studies.
