On December 11, 2025, the Faculty of History and Law of Abai KazNPU hosted the traditional scientific seminar for doctoral students at the Department of Modern and Contemporary History of Kazakhstan named after Academician T. Sadykov. The event was attended by 1st- and 2nd-year doctoral students and their academic supervisors, the Head of the Department G.R. Nuryumbetova, and the Deputy Dean for Research and International Cooperation, Candidate of Historical Sciences G.K. Balakhmetova., the Head of scientific seminar Candidate of Historical Sciences, Professor T.T. Dalaуeva, the secretary- PhD, senior lecturer- S.G. Belous. During the seminar, 2nd-year doctoral students delivered presentations on the following topics:Berikbolova Aizada `Types of Philanthropic Activity in the Field of Education and Culture in Akmola and Semipalatinsk Regions (Second Half of the 19th – Early 20th Century)` (Supervisor: Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor G.K. Kenzhebayev);Duysenbaykyzy Aitolkyn `Training History Teachers Based on Educational Programs: International and National Experience` (Supervisor: PhD D.B. Asymova);Idrissova Aidana `Visual Symbolism of Economic History in Textbooks on the Modern History of Kazakhstan (Second Half of the 20th – Early 21st Century)` (Supervisor: Candidate of Historical Sciences, Professor T.T. Dalaуeva);Uteuliyeva Barshagul `Blended, Inclusive, and Equitable Approaches to Teaching History` (Supervisor: PhD D.B. Asymova). The research presented at the seminar received positive feedback from Sh.B. Tleubayev, Candidate of Historical Sciences and Deputy Director for Research at the Ch. Valikhanov Institute of History and Ethnology, as well as from M. Yesker, PhD and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Ancient and Medieval History of Kazakhstan, who actively participated in the scholarly discussion. The seminar served as an important platform for young scholars to exchange experience and ideas.
