Destructive religious movements gaining momentum, it is no secret religious extremist ideas began to spread in the community. Today, improving religious literacy of young people is one of the key aspects of education.
      In order to prevent the work of radical movements and to improve religious literacy of young people at the KazNPU  named after Abai performed a range of activities. In particular, the Committee on Religious Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan headed by Chairman Galym Nurmaganbetuly Shoykin with members of the Republican advocacy group, with the participation of employees in cases of Almaty city Department of Religions held a series of lectures on the theme "Non-traditional religious movements and youth. Extremism and terrorism. "As a continuation of these activities on 9 February 2016 began its work a ten-day round table. The main aim of the round table will be held from 9 to 18 February 2016 KazNPU named after Abai. Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Professor Ishpekbayev Zh.E. opened the event, the guests familiarized with the complex of educational work. in turn, professor Ishpekbaev Zh.E noted that for five years in accordance with the order of the rector of the university created a group from the religious scholars, teachers, psychologists, who read a series of lectures and stressed that it held elective discipline "Religious Studies" for the 1st year students.

      The round table was attended by Advisor to the Head of the Department of Religious Affairs in Almaty Shaldanbayev Almas Nesipbayuly, director of studies of religions and examination information center Kudaykulov Tursyn Tanataruly, deputy police chief of Medeu district of Almaty Kurmashev Kuanish Zhanibekuly, chief imam of Medeu district Zhakiev Tilepbergen Allamzharuly, Senior Researcher of the Department of National security information system Centre Shomanov Bolat Shaymoldanuly. During the event made  informative reports on the following themes: "Religion and tradition are inseparable concepts", "Islam in Kazakhstan: problems and solution ways".
    Summing up the results of the round table, and considering that the main guarantor of sustainable development and prosperity of the country is the safety of the vice-rector for educational work Ishpekbayev Zh.E. urged all to join forces to work on terrorism
