TEDx Ideas Festival for Future Primary School Teachers Held at Abai KazNPU

 On November 24, 2025, Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University hosted a TEDx-format Ideas Festival titled «Future Primary School Teacher: From Idea to Action, From Knowledge to Inspiration» within the framework of the research project «Professional Collaboration among Students as a New Format of Knowledge Exchange and Research in the University Environment.»

Students majoring in Primary Education from the following institutions took part in the festival:

• Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University;

• Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University;

• SDU University;

• Almaty University of Humanities and Economics;

• Almaty City Pedagogical College No.1.

During the TEDx festival, participants presented their original projects, research ideas, and innovative educational initiatives.

The event was attended by representatives of Abai KazNPU’s administration and faculty:

• M. Zhakauev, Vice-Rector for Social Development,

• A. Akzholova, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology,

• A. Y. Zhumabayeva, Head of the Department of Primary Education,

• E. Kurmangali, Deputy Dean for Social and Educational Affairs.

The following were invited as external experts: Deputy Director for Academic Affairs of School-Gymnasium No. 202 A. Kurbanova, primary school teachers of No. 202 M. Makhabaeva and secondary school teachers of No. 207 A. Kainuldina, and internal expert N. Tasbulatova.

The results of the competition were as follows:

• 1st Place (70,000 KZT) – Students of the «Bilim Vectory» organization, Abai KazNPU;

• 2nd Place (50,000 KZT) – Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University;

• 3rd Place (30,000 KZT) – SDU University;

• 4th Place (15,000 KZT) – Almaty City Pedagogical College No.1;

• 5th Place – Encouragement Award.

Winners and participants were awarded cash prizes and certificates of appreciation.
