Final of the "Teacher of the New Generation" contest with international participation.

On October 3, 2025, the Department of Primary Education at Abai KazNPU hosted the final of the First National Contest of Graduate Lessons “Teacher of a New Generation.” The contest brought together first-year and graduating students, showcasing modern approaches to school education. The project’s author and coordinator is Prof. A.B. Akpayeva (Abai KazNPU). The project patron is Prof. L.A. Lebedeva (Abai KazNPU).

Nineteen applications were received from four universities in Kazakhstan and Russia (Abai KazNPU; A. Baitursynuly Kostanay Regional University; Almaty University of Humanities and Economics; R. Gamzatov Dagestan State Pedagogical University).

The contest was held in two stages. At the first stage, all submissions were reviewed by a jury that included: A.S. Kozlenko, teacher at “Bilimkana-Almaty”; L.E. Ageeva, Acting Professor at Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University; F.B. Kinzhibayeva, Professor at Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University; and A.E. Bokotova, primary school teacher at School-Gymnasium No. 110 in Almaty.

Six works advanced to the final (five invited for on-site participation and one without an on-site invitation). The student participants presented lesson videos and defended their methodological ideas, while first-year students shared impressions and answered questions.

The final-stage jury consisted of: Chair – A.E. Zhumabayeva, Head of the Department of Primary Education, Abai KazNPU; A.T. Akzholova, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology; faculty members of the Department of Primary Education – Prof. L.A. Lebedeva; Senior Lecturers S.B. Zhorayeva, A.O. Abdykadyrov, and A. Aueskhan; as well as teacher-researchers from the STEAM school-lyceum – E.V. Khuzina and O.V. Bobrova.

By the jury’s decision, the following awards were granted: First Degree – Regina Vladimirovna Evseeva and Anastasia Evgenyevna Tkachenko (Abai KazNPU); Second Degree – two duos: Zhansaya Zhanabekkyzy & Ayagoz Raiymbek, and Gulnaz Bulatova & Sofia Gordeeva (Abai KazNPU); Third Degree – three duos: Birganim Adilkhankyzy & Tomiris Moldasheva, and Asem Zhanis & Alina Ibragimova (Abai KazNPU), as well as Daria Nikulina & Natalia Burdyakovskaya (A. Baitursynuly Kostanay Regional University). Special nominations were also announced.

The results confirmed the strong potential of the country’s future teachers and their readiness to implement contemporary educational practices. We thank the participants, jury members, and mentors for their trust and collaboration.
