Meeting with First-Year Students at the «Education» Faculty in Astana

A meeting with first-year students was held at the new Faculty of Education of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai in Astana. The faculty, which opened this year, accepted students for the first time.

During the meeting, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Banu Narbekova introduced the faculty staff and provided students with detailed information about the academic process, requirements, and the university`s mission.

In 2024, 300 students were admitted to the faculty on state educational grants and paid programs in the following educational fields:

1. Pedagogy and Psychology (B001);
2. Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education (B003);
3. Training of Military Training Teachers (B004);
4. Training of Fine Arts and Drawing Teachers (B007);
5. Training of Mathematics Teachers (B009);
6. Training of Informatics Teachers (B011);
7. Training of Geography Teachers (B014);
8. Training of Kazakh Language and Literature Teachers (B016);
9. Special Education (B020).
