The International Panel on Turkic World Children`s Literature Was Held

On April 18, 2025, the Department of Kazakh Literature and Teaching Methodology named after Academician S. Kiraibayev of the Faculty of Philology at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, in collaboration with the Department of Contemporary Turkic Languages and Literatures and the Center for the Study and Promotion of the Languages and Cultures of Altaic Peoples of Pamukkale University (Turkey), organized the International Panel on Turkic World Children`s Literature.

The event brought together renowned writers, professors, and scholars from Kazakhstan, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and Karakalpakstan, who presented reports and shared insights. During the panel, a bilateral agreement was signed by the professors of Pamukkale University, and it was announced that an International Symposium on the literary heritage of Kazakh and Turkish peoples is planned in the near future.
