"Academic writing and artificial Intelligence"

On April 07, 2025, Gulshat Bakytzhanovna Tusupova, PhD, PhD, University of Aberdeen (Great Britain), gave a guest lecture on "Academic writing and artificial Intelligence" at the Department of Kazakh Literature and Teaching Methods of the Philological Faculty of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Academician S. Kirabayev.

The informative lecture was devoted to the peculiarities of academic text education (Master`s thesis and PhD thesis) and the main novelty of the modern globalization process - the basic algorithm of artificial intelligence and the fight against plagiarism resulting from it. Information was provided on ways to use the achievements of artificial intelligence in accordance with scientific ethics. They exchanged views on issues related to the entry of the academic text into modern Russian science. At the end of the lecture, the author answered questions from the teaching staff and students, and also shared his experience in reviewing the literature, theoretical, and methodological parts of this topic.
