The opening ceremony of the year of youth

On 23 January 2019, the Opening Ceremony of the Year of Youth was held with the participation of Head of State N.A. Nazarbayev. The solemn event was held within the framework of the forum and a live broadcast was organized on national TV channels.

In order to popularize the historical event, online broadcasts were organized in all academic buildings of the university, where, along with the leadership of the university, more than 1,200 students took an active part.

During the event, successful projects and new products implemented by young Kazakhstanis were presented. The speakers were young Kazakhstanis who had achieved success in various sectors and expressed their gratitude to President Nursultan Nazarbayev.

In turn, the Head of State expressed confidence that all initiatives proposed by the youth will be supported and effectively implemented.

In conclusion, the rector of the university, Takir Balykbayev, noted that within the framework of the «Year of Youth», huge projects would be implemented at the university and urged the youth to be active.
