Training on «School Management System»

On October 19, 2022 Shyngys Nurlanov, Vice-rector for social development of Abai University conducted training for 100 students of Honors College`s supplementary education project. The topic of the training was «School Management System».

Particular attention was given to the role of the headmaster, board of trustees and funding in achieving the management objectives. The results of the research on types of school leaders published in Harvard Business Review, the case of Republican Physics and Mathematics School and experience of work in this school were presented to the students.

Shyngys Nurlanov noted that education is the main priority and the main indicator of development in all civilized countries of the world. This requires strong staff, especially of pedagogical profile. And the work of school teachers and university professors is very important here. Therefore, the training of highly qualified specialists is task No. 1 for Abai KazNPU.

In September this year Honors College students undertook an internship at the Republican Physics and Mathematics School in Almaty, one of the strongest secondary schools in the country.

Such training sessions will continue in the future.
