Abai University lecturer undertakes internship in the USA

A.Irgebayeva, a lecturer at the Department of Russian Language and Literature and a Bolashak scholarship holder, is currently undergoing a research internship at the University of California, Davis, USA.

On September 4, 2025, an introductory meeting with the internship coordinators took place. Jacob Hosier, Director of the International Center for Professional Development and Continuing Education, warmly welcomed the Kazakhstani researchers.

Staff members Sue Glassford and Stephanie Palmer outlined organizational and program-related matters. During the meeting, the interns had the opportunity to get acquainted with one another, meet the coordinators, and learn about key aspects of their upcoming academic activities.
