KazNPU Doctoral Students Participated in an International Summer School

From May 2 to 8, 2025, first-year doctoral students of the 8D03102 - Cultural Studies program from the Department of Political Science and Socio-Philosophical Disciplines at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Uldana Aripzhanova and Assel Batyrkhanova, took part in the international summer school "Samarkand Intercultural Communication Summer School", organized by Samarkand State University.

The aim of the summer school was to analyze the importance of intercultural communication in the era of globalization, to establish scientific ties among young researchers from various countries, and to promote international cooperation.

As part of the program, the doctoral students exchanged experiences with foreign professors, participated in trainings, seminars, and discussions on intercultural communication, and had the opportunity to deepen their academic interests. Uldana Aripzhanova delivered a presentation on the topic "Intercultural communication in the era of globalization: challenges and prospects".

As part of the summer school program, an excursion was organized to the historical and cultural landmarks of Samarkand, such as the Gur-e-Amir Mausoleum, Registan Square, the Mirzo Ulugh Beg Madrasa, the Ark Citadel, the historical Bibi-Khanym Mosque, and others. The excursion allowed participants to dive deeper into the aesthetics of the Eastern world.

Participation in this summer school marks an important step in strengthening KazNPU`s international academic relations and enhancing the potential of young researchers.
