One of the recognized methods for assessing the quality of educational services provided by the university is institutional accreditation and accreditation of educational programs.
With the aim of assessing the quality of educational services Abai KazNPU cooperates with Kazakhstan and international accreditation agencies.
Institutional accreditation of the university was carried out in 2014 by the Kazakhstan Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR)
At present, the university has accredited 24 specialties of pedagogical profile.
So, in 2012 the international accreditation agency ASIIN (Germany) accredited the educational programs of the bachelor`s degree in physics and computer science, implemented at the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics.
In 2015, 10 educational bachelor programs (mathematics, biology, chemistry, geography) and magistracy (physics, computer science, mathematics, biology, chemistry, geography) were internationally accredited in ASIIN, and relevant certificates were obtained. These programs are implemented in the institutes of mathematics, physics and informatics, natural sciences and geography.
In 2016, 12 educational programs for bachelor`s and master`s degrees in philology, history and the profile of a multilingual education were accredited by the Independent Kazakh Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (IQAA).
9 accreditation programs of the bachelor`s and master`s degree programs of preschool and primary education, pedagogy, psychology and defectology were offered for accreditation in the Institute of Accreditation, Certification and Quality Assurance ACQUIN (Germany).
Work has begun with the Independent Accreditation and Rating Agency (IAAR). It is planned to pass accreditation of 8 educational programs for bachelor`s and master`s degrees in initial military training, fine arts and drawing, physical culture and sports, vocational training, the basics of law and economics.
