Abai University students won prizes at the Kazakhstan togyzkumalak Championship

From May 16 to May 21, 2025, the X togyzkumalak Team Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan among men and women was held in the city of Kyzylorda.

In the blitz format of the championship, the team of KazNPU named after Abai, consisting of students of the specialty "Physical Culture and Sports" - 4th-year student Zabira Sarsenbayeva, 3rd-year student Akerke Tursinali and undergraduate Aruzhan Kuatova - took 2nd place.

Zabira Sarsenbayeva fulfilled the standard of the Master of sports.

Yerasyl Pernebayev, a 3rd-year student at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Geography, took 1st place in the classic game format and 2nd place in the blitz.
