"Peace through caring: volunteerism and charity" socio-pedagogical creative final competition among students named after Beisen Kuranbek.

On December 8, 2025, with the support of the Department of Social and Youth Policy, the research and socio-pedagogical areas of the volunteer club "Meirim" held the final socio-pedagogical competition among students "Peace through care: volunteerism and charity" named after Beisen Koranbek. The competition was organized by volunteer students of the Meirim Volunteer Club under the leadership of Kurmangali Elmurat, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology for Social and Educational Work, and Gulbakhira Shirinbayeva on the eve of the International Volunteer Day and the birthday of Koranbek Beisen Abayuli.

The purpose of the competition is to develop the volunteer movement among students through the promotion of social, household, charitable, selfless activities of Beisen Koranbek. The main areas of the competition are volunteering and charity.

The competition consists of theoretical and practical rounds. The chairman of the jury is Maksat Zhakauov, Vice–rector for Social Development, jury members: editor of the social talk shows "Aituga onai" and "Karaket" on the national channel of Kazakhstan, radio and TV presenter – Maksat Yerzhanyly, journalist of the Zhibek Zholy TV channel, member of the League of Volunteers – Abdigappar Saya, lecturer at the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai – Maldybaev Kamil.

According to the results of the final competitive rounds, the projects selected by the majority of votes of the jury members were recognized as the winners of the teams. All the student volunteers who took 1,2,3 prizes were awarded a certificate for a monetary reward in the amount of 300,000 tenge by the general sponsor, authorized business and service partner of Xerox Corporation in Kazakhstan, head of the network of centers for operational printing, design and advertising in Almaty Viktor Boyko.

First place:

- Arnaiy Support team, specialty 6B01901-Special Pedagogy (IP), 50,000 tenge.

Second place:

- Umit Shama team, specialty 6B01802 - Social Pedagogy (IP), 40,000 tenge.

- Zhan Tugyry team, specialty 6B01109-Psychology (IP), 40,000 tenge.  

Third place:

- The team of "Izgi ister alemi" specialty 6B01204 - Preschool education (IP), 30,000 tenge.

- Shapagat team, specialty 6B01308-Primary education (IP), 30,000 tenge.  

Also, in honor of the International Volunteer Day, all active university volunteer students were awarded a certificate for a monetary reward.

- "En uzdik yeriktiler toby" 55,000 tenge.

- "En uzdik kayyrymdylyk zhumys" 55,000 tenge.

The Meirim Volunteer Club expresses its deep gratitude to Mr. Viktor Boyko, head of the network of centers for operational printing, design and advertising in Almaty, who provided financial support in organizing the competition.

The final socio-pedagogical competition among students named after Beisen Koranbek ended with a musical performance by creative teams of the volunteer club "Meirim" and congratulations to the winners.
