Scientific and Methodological Seminar “Methodological and Methodical Structure and Logic of a Scientific Research Topic”

 

On December 4, 2025, at the Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Kadisha Shalgynbayeva conducted a scientific and methodological seminar titled “Methodological and Methodical Structure and Logic of a Scientific Research Topic.” The seminar was attended by master’s and doctoral students of the educational program 7M/8D01201 – Preschool Education and upbringing, as well as the faculty members of the department.

The event was opened by the Head of the Department, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Ulbosyn Kiyakbayeva, who emphasized the importance of methodological culture, theoretical justification, and research logic for future scholars. She wished the master’s and doctoral students success in their scientific endeavors and noted that the seminar would serve as a valuable foundation for systematizing their research activities and determining their scientific direction.

The main purpose of the seminar was to provide methodological guidance to master’s and doctoral students for the proper organization of scientific research, to develop an understanding of the structural and logical system of research, and to explain the principles of constructing the scientific apparatus (purpose, objectives, relevance, object, subject, hypothesis, methods) in accordance with academic standards.

Professor Kadisha Shalgynbayeva gave a detailed presentation on methodological approaches in scientific research, the scientific rationale for selecting a research problem, the specifics of constructing a hypothesis, formulating research goals and objectives, clarifying the object and subject of research, and designing a logical sequence of research stages. Additionally, an interactive discussion was held, during which participants addressed key questions related to the dissertation work of master’s and doctoral students.

The participation of the department’s faculty members added depth to the seminar and expanded the space for scholarly discussion. The attendees expressed great interest in the methodological insights provided by the professor and gained valuable knowledge about the nuances of planning and structuring scientific research.

The event was conducted at a high level and became an important step in enhancing the scientific and methodological culture of young researchers, contributing to the qualitative development of the structural and logical foundations of their scientific work.
