“Scientific requirements for dissertation research and rules for ethical review.”

On November 6, 2025, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor A.K. Aitpaeva organized a methodological seminar for doctoral students  

of the educational program “8D01201-Preschool Education and Upbringing” of the Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy on the topic: “Scientific requirements for dissertation research and rules for ethical review.”

The purpose of the seminar was to improve the effectiveness of dissertation research, both theoretical and practical.

The objectives of the seminar were to define or describe the functions of a scientific supervisor in the process of planning, completing, and defending a dissertation.

Methods. Results of content analysis of dissertations and interviews with doctoral students for the 2025–2026 academic year.

The most relevant issues related to the seminar topic were discussed. The seminar was attended by faculty members: Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Mankesh A.E. and Master of Pedagogical Sciences, Senior Lecturer Asankhanova Zh.Zh.
