Cultural and Educational Event: Excursion to the Mu

seum of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University

Between September 29 and October 1, 2025, within the framework of the project “Journey to the Museum”, introductory activities were held for first-year students of the educational program 6B01802 – Social Pedagogy (IP) at the Museum of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University The purpose of the event is to familiarize first-year students with the history of the founding, formation, and development of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, recognized as the “cradle” of higher education in Kazakhstan. In addition, the event is aimed at fostering patriotic feelings among students, developing confidence and responsibility in choosing their future profession, stimulating interest in learning, encouraging commitment to national culture and traditions, promoting innovation, and strengthening the unity of the student community.At the museum, the students were welcomed by Erkin Kaishibekov, who presented them with valuable information related to the history of the university. During the excursion, the students became acquainted with materials dedicated to prominent figures who contributed to the development of education, science, and culture in the country, as well as with the heroic legacy of Kazakh batyrs. In addition, they viewed the creative works of talented students.The organizers of the event were the faculty of the Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy: head of the “Leader” club — Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Associate Professor Anar Alimbekova; Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Nazira Atemkulova; Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Associate Professor Asem Bulshеkbayeva; Master of Pedagogical Sciences,lecturers Shyrin Alimzhan and Sandugash Raimkul.
